JERRY GARCIA'S EARLY FINE ART PAINTINGS
from the private collection of Tiff Garcia
Five oil paintings, now exhibited together for the first time, are the only
existing evidence of the artist's work in this medium, and show the
important influence of Elmer Bischoff, a leader of the Bay Area Figurative
Art Movement, with whom Garcia studied in the late 1950s.
